Scott Edward Cole, Esq., President/CEO

Mr. Cole is a graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law (1992), where he served as President of the Labor & Employment Law Society, and San Francisco State University (B.A., Speech Communications: Individual Major in Rhetoric and Minor Study in Business Administration). He is a member of the California State Bar and the State Bar’s Labor and Employment Law Section, is admitted to practice before the Central, Eastern, Northern and Southern District Courts of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and has prosecuted cases in California, Florida, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas, as well as nationwide.

Mr. Cole has served as a member of the National Association of Securities Dealers (Series 7 Licensed), California’s Animal Legal Defense Fund, the Board of Directors of the American Synergy Center, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the California Employment Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the National Employment Lawyers Association, the Alameda County Bar Association (Vice-Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section’s Executive Committee, 2009 and 2010) and as a U.S. Delegate to the InterAmerican Meeting of Labor and Trade Union Lawyers in Havana, Cuba (March 2012). Finally, Mr. Cole is an extremely well-respected leader in the field of employment class action litigation, has achieved record results in both settlements and judgments in such cases, has authored numerous scholarly publications and has been called upon to serve as a regular speaker at public seminars on issues surrounding employment law and class action procedures. Mr. Cole founded the predecessor firm to Scott Cole & Associates in 1992 and has devoted himself, his team, and the firm’s resources to championing employment law issues ever since.

Kevin Francis Barrett, Esq., Associate Attorney

Mr. Barrett is a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law (1987), holds a Business Administration degree from San Diego State University and an M.B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles. He is a member of the California State Bar and the New York State Bar and has been admitted to practice in all California District Courts. Mr. Barrett has served between 2009 and 2011 as a Guest Lecturer in Commercial Law at Boise State University’s College of Business and Economics, and as the President of the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management’s Alumni Association for the San Francisco Bay Area.

Over his extensive career, Mr. Barrett has represented countless individuals and business enterprises in a vast array of civil litigation matters.

Teresa D. Allen, Esq., Associate Attorney

Ms. Allen is a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law (2008), holds an LL.M. in Litigation and Dispute Resolution from George Washington University School of Law and a degree in Political Science from California State University, Hayward. Ms. Allen served as an Extern for Judge Robert Rigsby, District of Columbia Superior Court and is admitted to the California State Bar, all California courts and has devoted substantial effort and time to pro bono work with the Alameda County Bar Association’s Volunteer Legal Services Corporation.

Corey B. Bennett, Esq., Associate Attorney

Mr. Bennett is a graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law (2009), holds a degree in International Affairs from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Southern California. He is a member of the California State Bar and various federal courts and has served as a officer and Board member to the San Francisco Evening Rotary and America Scores Bay Area, respectively.
